That the biggest noisemaker in Norwegian improvisation is inspired by music from both Ethiopia, Brazil, Mali and Senegal is perhaps no surprise, that he put together a new band with danceable music and written songs was perhaps a little more unexpected... But it didn't last long : it's still the same songs, but now the musicians are free to use the notes wherever they want, so now anyone can play any part of a song at any time. This means that each concert will be completely different, with great contrasts in dynamics and intensity.
