Miss Tati takes us on a captivating journey back to the sounds of Angola in the 1970s, exploring the rich heritage of her own family's origins. With Miss Tati's virtuoso skills and eye for detail, she gives new life to a musical force that bridges generations and cultures. The music sends you straight to the vibrant clubs of Luanda, and to her parents' youth, while we are invited to immerse ourselves in the rhythms of a bygone era. The music is a continuation of Angola70, which started as a commissioned piece at Jungelen and later filled Røkeriet in a sweaty and intense concert at Nattjazz in 2019. Magical vocals, intense rhythms and 11 musicians on stage!

At Nattjazz, the band will also be celebrating their first release, which has been titled Angola Yangue (Mitt Angola). The album is  a musical gem that deserves a celebration, not only for its wonderful interpretation of Angolan music from the 70s, but also for its intimate exploration of her family's cultural heritage.  Join the record release and a danceable opening party of this year's festival in the Hall at USF Verftet!
