Bergen Ungdomsstorband (BUS) was established by Bergen Kulturskole in September 2005 and is an offer for particularly interested and talented musicians in Vestland between the ages of 12 and 19. In collaboration with various guests, the big band has long been a regular feature at Nattjazz. This year, they have breathed life into the JassBBBBox concept that Espen Horne presented at Festspillene in 2016 and at USF Verftet in 2017. Action The Man was a self-evident guest on stage then and will of course be there this year as well. In addition, the band has brought in rapper RazMatazz (Rasmus Solberg) and Bergen's new R'n'B star Nelly Moar. To keep everything under control, they have also placed the country's most stable and in-demand beat drummer, Ivar Thormodsæter, behind the drum set.
