Woodwind player and Motvind festival director Andreas Røysum have gathered his favorite musicians in an ensemble that mixes African and Asian traditional music with a touch of free jazz and European contemporary music - inspired by, among others, Anthony Braxton, Marvin Gaye, Vashti Bunyan, Roscoe Mitchell and Shirley Collins. Røysum can otherwise be found in collaboration with Kresten Osgood and Axel Dörner, as well as as a member of Nakama, Miman and Marthe Lea Band.
