With airy energy, vocalist, composer and soloist Selma Fench shows a love for Norwegian and English folk music. Surrounded by this genre she started playing early, and along the way has been inspired by the likes of Nick Drake and Fairport Convention, to Susanne Sundfør and Sandy Denny. She is known on the folk scene in Norway as a member of Masåva and the Norwegian Grammy-winner Morgonrode, as well as collaborations with Frøkedal & Familien and The Switch. gaffa.no gave her concert at Vill Vill Vest 6/6: "It is Selma French who is music-Norway's best-kept secret.
