Bergen Youth Big Band (BUS) was established by Bergen Kulturskole in September 2005 and is an offer for particularly interested and talented musicians in Hordaland between the ages of 12 and 19. In collaboration with various guests, they have long been a regular fixture at Nattjazz. Now they can brush up on wild time signatures from the Balkans, Texas ballads, rough children's songs from Sogn with accordion, drums and pots. A big band that boils over with swinging, rhythmically weird Balkan blues and then picks itself up sentimentally, poetically and thoughtfully when it gets too hot. Guest with the band is Rolf-Erik Nystrøm!
